Hospitality technology provider Canary Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with Ulyses PMS, a cloud-based property management system (PMS) operated by Septeo. The collaboration aims to integrate Canary’s AI-driven guest engagement platform directly into the Ulyses PMS ecosystem, targeting operational efficiency and improved guest interactions for hotels across Spain.
Enhancing Hotel Operational Frameworks
The integration is designed to automate routine tasks and streamline the digital infrastructure for hotel operators. By connecting these two platforms, properties can centralize data management, ensuring that guest information remains consistent and traceable throughout the service lifecycle. According to the companies, this alignment addresses the industry’s growing need for modern, interconnected technology ecosystems.
Francisco Ors, Director of the Ulyses PMS Business Unit at Septeo, stated that the partnership allows hotels to extend their technical capabilities into guest-facing operations. “Our cloud-based PMS centralises and orchestrates this information, enabling more agile and controlled processes,” Ors noted.
Strategic Expansion into the Spanish Market
For Canary Technologies, the agreement serves as a conduit to expand its market share within the Spanish hospitality sector. As hoteliers increasingly prioritize automation and guest personalization to remain competitive, Canary seeks to leverage this partnership to deliver specialized tools that support these objectives.
SJ Sawhney, co-founder and president of Canary Technologies, emphasized the demand for integrated solutions in the region. “Spain’s hoteliers are increasingly looking for technology partners that deliver both operational efficiency and elevated guest experiences,” Sawhney said, noting that the integration creates a seamless bridge between Canary’s engagement tools and the underlying property management systems.
AI Adoption in Hospitality
The move follows a broader trend of AI integration within the travel and leisure sector, where firms are increasingly adopting automation to mitigate labor constraints and meet consumer expectations for personalized service. Canary has been active in this space, having launched its “Hospitality AI Agent Studio” earlier this year, which provides hotels with a framework to build and deploy custom AI-powered assistants.
As technology providers like Canary and Septeo continue to consolidate their offerings, the focus remains on reducing technical friction for operators, allowing them to focus on service delivery while the underlying software manages data consistency and operational workflows.
